About

The Arts Musical Division is a privately run not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to helping flourish the lives of Canadian talents. The Arts Musical Division's goal is to provide support to Canadian artists in realizing and accomplishing their dreams.

The Arts Musical Division is working towards providing financial support to artists experiencing financial hardship due to lack of employment and other related circumstances.

The Arts Musical Division is working towards helping the support of programs and services that is geared to improve the career of the artists. Program initiatives we help to support include:

  • Studio recording project example; recording an album, EP, etc.
  • Coaching and Mentorship
  • Professional Development Programs example; workshops, events, conferences, websites, etc.
  • Promotion and Marketing

Programs

Please read the program eligibility criteria carefully. Applicants must meet all the program criteria before applying. Applicants can only apply to one program when a program(s) becomes available.

Studio Recording Project

Eligibility

  • Canadian artist who is unemployed or self-employed.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proof of project the artist wishes to undertake (i.e., must be ready for recording).
  • Proof of income or zero income.

Coaching and Mentorship

Eligibilty

  • Canadian artist who has been in the music industry for at least three years.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Have at least released two albums in which one album was released in the previous year.
  • Provide proof of coaching and mentorship program.
  • A website or webpage showing artists work.
  • Links to their released work showing the year of releases.

Professional Development Program

Eligibility

  • Canadian artist who has been an artist for at least three years.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Have at least released an album within the last two years.
  • Working towards a new project or having an upcoming project example; building a website, new album, promotion, marketing, etc.
  • Proof of work materials toward that project.
  • Provide proof of event, conference, and business travel.
